Hello all! We know there have been a lot of changes and news about the availability of compounded GLP-1's and pricing. We are monitoring the situation closely and are continuing to offer meds at the best price we can find from high quality compounding pharmacies and/or offering prescription support to write prescriptions for traditional pharmacies. As of May 8th, compounded medications are available for patients who need custom dosing and we will be glad to consult to make sure you are on the proper dose. We are also offering a prescription support program ($150/month) for those who want the traditional dosing as we can order from Eli Lilly Direct for reasonable prices ($349-$699 depending on dose and order frequency) or from NovoNordisk ($499/box). We are also able to submit to your insurance as well. One of the many benefits of working with Summit Wellness Group is you are working with an MD and RN who not only have been focusing closely on medial weight loss for the last 2+ years, but are patients ourselves, having lost 45+ pounds each on these same meds. We can speak not only from a provider standpoint, but from a patient's perspective as well. All of our patients are followed either weekly in office or monthly in office or virtually and all have guidance on dosing, tapering, and maintenance as well as support for nutrition and movement.
